While reading our mission statement you may have wondered why these particular pictures have been chosen to accompany this message. Owner Deke Fyrberg takes particular pride in his family's connection to the local area, and shares their passion for the sea. The son of a biology teacher turned fish processor and grandson of retired lobsterman and Little Neck Lobster Pool owner, Deke is not only knowledgeable about where and how his menu items are harvested, handled and prepared, but has also spent a considerable amount of time doing the same. To this end, he wishes nothing more than to emphasize his company's commitment to quality and the traditional flavors of a hearty New England clambake.
